Miguel A. Bandy joined Lincoln Funeral Home and Memorial Parks in Dallas as a funeral home manager and funeral director in charge in 2024. In this position, he is responsible for all business operations, ranging from staff management to marketing activities, in addition to meeting with family members and discussing services. He also sometimes undertakes embalming services. In addition to overseeing ongoing staff education, Miguel Bandy meets regularly with the director of operations to review monthly scorecards for the funeral home on matters such as health and vitals.
In the past, Miguel A. Bandy worked as a funeral director at locations such as Dignity Memorial and Crawford-Bowers Funeral Homes. In 2007, he received recognition as one of the top 15 regional funeral directors within the Service Corporation International network, North America’s leading funeral, cremation, and cemetery services provider.
Miguel Bandy studied political science and public policy at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, and he holds an applied science degree from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He attends various meetings and events hosted by industry organizations such as the Texas Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
